Saniya’s Cultural Express (SCE) was launched in January 2020 when we co-hosted a number of international guests with the Lahore Biennale Foundation LB02. Our purpose is to promote & revive Pakistan’s cultural & artistic heritage through in depth tours of our country. We are passionate about opening the treasure trove of Pakistan to the wider world. Through our carefully curated packages for all forms of travellers, we hope to show you our country from southernmost Sindh to the mighty Karakorum, and from Baluchistan to Kashmir. SCE is actively committed to bring Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage to you and to the widest interest and deeper understanding across the globe.
SCE specialises in bespoke cultural experiences in Pakistan due to close ties with the country. Our wide network of friends and family all over the country adds the value of in-depth personal experience and expertise as well as new friendships to our tours through the remarkable sights and sounds of Pakistan. In addition, SCE’s work, over a number of years, with local artisans, such as the marvellous ceramicists of Multan, and the manufacturers of stunning fabrics and embroideries from various parts of the country, provide opportunities for real understanding of local crafts, and the importance of their long histories and continuing existence regardless of the speed of change in the 21st century.
SCE aims to highlight the special artistic and cultural features of each region visited by our guests and are deeply appreciative of the participation of local communities and the opportunities for our guests to have a truly immersive experience among the people of different communities and cultures throughout Pakistan.
Our Vision
We aspire to promote and increase the best forms of tourism among the vast cultural riches that exist in our wonderful country and to showcase a society that takes so much pride in its history and its present. Our aim, always, is to create, build and support the most ethical travel practices in Pakistan by ensuring that local artisans and communities are recognized for everything they bring to our society.
Our tours will ensure that everything from accommodation, guides, local transport, and culinary delicacies are safe and secure for our clients and remain, at all times, respectful to local populations.
